I don’t define anyone’s trauma. If you have experienced something traumatic, one option for treatment is called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

EMDR works well to address traumas by first desensitizing you to the event and then by reprocessing. The process varies in timeline from one person to the next (and one memory to the next). It can take as little as one session or as much as 8 weeks.

I offer EMDR as an integrative approach within regular therapy, in collaboration with your therapist or as an intensive treatment for up to 4 hours at a time (when clinically appropriate).
